I hear some say yes and others say no. Also, with 7.1, what can i expect HP wise, i'm getting 167 HP to the wheels now. Thanks again for your input. I am seeing if it is worth getting one. I didn't want to fork out that kind of money and just get, lets say 60 HP. the 167 HP is NA. no turbo sugerbear008 03-17-2005, 11:54 AM 167 on a c5 with a turbo? What do you have it in backwards or somethin? roflmfao finalimpact 03-17-2005, 01:48 PM with good fuel managment you could propably run higher boost than 7 psi but this is also dependant on the size of your turbo. people have said that a 1.5 stock bottom end could not hold more than 9 psi or even a 75 shot of n2o. well ive ran a 75 shot for 7 months then went with a t28 turbo for another 4 months. . .till this day the car still runs. Kappa22 03-20-2005, 07:36 PM Well, that's kind of a different story. The 1.5's are a lot sturdier than anybody thinks, but comparing one to a C5 to judge how much boost you can use is just bad. sacicons 03-20-2005, 11:44 PM those d15 conrods just make me a little nervous. when i pulled mine out, i coulnt believe how thin they were. Kappa22 03-21-2005, 03:41 PM Yeah, it's true. The rods look like twigs. But after seeing someone running 9 lbs. and a 40 shot on a stock D15B1 daily with no issues... 96ek 03-19-2008, 08:54 PM makes me want to turbo my d16y7 |
