well with a low budget...you wont be getting 50-70 hp
with basic bolt-ons, I/H/E you wont even get 50 and that will cost you around a grand.
Just start with an intake for now...It will definately hold you over for a while, if you have a job save up, then go with headers and exhaust...you will definately feel the gain, but it wont be 50hp. that is alot

ok.well when i sed low i meant around 2-3 k.well im going to carsponsorships.com too look for a sponsor some how and i have to w8 till im 17 tho my frend went there and he got few new stuff..ok well thanks..need more suggestions=D
oh ok sorry, when you say low budget, i think of $300 or less, that is low budget for me. For 2-3k...you can go turbo, swap, nos, sc....those would be your best bets for 50-70 hp, you will get beyond those numbers
it's an auto, though, so a turbo wouldn't be all that effective, would it? I mean, under normal driving, autos shift around 3k, and that's when most turbos are just starting to spool...
go with an i/h/e... gains depend on what brands you use.. intakes are usually 5hp or under... headers are usuallyabout 5hp or alittle more(on a civic), and exhausts are usually 5-10hp... 50-70hp is a lot...
Lightweight pulley sets usually free up a few horsepower by decreasing the mass of the pulleys that the engine has to spin, so those would probably help, too. Really, the only way you'll see the gains you want are with forced induction
