my car's idle keeps going up and down and some times it acctually stalls out for no reason. my friends dad said its running too rich so i was wondering if replacing the regulator would help that out or if i just need a little tune. any suggestions????

 

I wouln't touch the regulator. When was the most recent tune-up? (cap, rotor, plugs, wires, oil, air filter)

 

well it was done just recently but come to find out i have a coolant leak and the guy at the Honda Dealership said it can make ur car do that weird **** so hopefully tomorrow at 3 pm it should be good.......hopefully.

its attached to the backside of your TB near firewall

 

my integra did that for a while...it was my pcv valve...it had a hole in it...check it out..cheap easy fix if thats what it is

 

Like INJENallthewaysaid clean IAC valve, then check for vacum leaks. And depending on what throttle body is on the car. On the bottom of the throttle body there is another IAC bypass. it has a gold looking plate in the side of it and has two 8mm bolt holding the cap on . Take the cap off and the is a white plastic plunger in there take a flat tip screw driver and turn it all the way in. And that should take care of problem.

 

what model do you have? does it do it when its warming up or just fully warmed up?
