General Civic Talk - Help with picking a hatch...

Hey guys, I just joined because I have a 240SX with SR20DET and I am tired of it and all it's problems.
I want to get a hatch, i've always wanted one.

I wanted to know what hatch would get the most power.
For example, GSR swap, LS turbo, etc.

Let me know what you think would be the best bet.

damn..i say give me your 240sx and ill give you my 4dr civic! but if i were you i'd go w/ any 92-95 hatch or 96-98 hatch with a k20 type R..that will you give you INSANE power. My buddy has it done andits sick. All stock with an intake and runs 8.1's on 1/8th mile track. With Street Tires and he CANNOT hook up at all he spins all 6 gears. So just imagaine if he had DR's or even slicks. easy easy 7's

depends on if you want to go NA or FI to decide which motor is best for you. but i would recommend a 92-95 (eg) or a 96-98 (ek) hatch since they are pretty light.

i think the cx model years 93-95 were the lightest. i would go boosted gsr.

eh, get a 96-00 hatch. I like those...I like eg too but then...hmm

the 92-95 vx and cx hatch are the lightest and if you have the money i'd go k-20 swap. but a gsr swap is nice too

Gsr swap will net you almost 9/10 of the k20 swap with half theprice, but it doesn't respond to mods quite as well.
