General Civic Talk - info and prices wanted....

Good evening folks!!!

I got a D16Y7 stock (with ebay CAI) and am looking to slowly do a mini-me swap. Its a daily driver in Canada so it sees -40F to +90F.Reliability is pretty important here.... Anyway, First thing I want to do is the intake. I assume the best one to swap would be a Y8, but are there other/better options out there? At this point I would prob swap on stock parts instead of aftermarket (unless the price is right). I am also curious about the TB...should I/can I easily swap that out for something larger? is it worth it?

Other questions are: how much should I be paying for an IM (stock or aftermarket) or the price of a TB? And the last question...anyone on here have some of this stuff for sale? (sadly I can't buy RIGHT NOW...but soon.)

Yeah, the y8 manifold is the one to go with. You can expect to pay anywhere from 50 to 100 bucks and you can reuse all of your sensors so you dont' have to worry about those. The GSR throttle body is the way to go if you want to stick with oem stuff. I got one for ~ 50 bucks. It's 4mm larger than the y8 one. You will want to port match the mani and TB when/if you go this route.

On a side note, I do have both of these things when you get ready to purchase them.
