finallly got on this site, i've had my '00 si for about 6 years - has only 35k on it.
just turbo'd it with a kit i put together my self: turbonetics t3 turbo just thrust bearings. turbonetics manifold and evolution wastegate. intercooler (small ) greddy bov. AEM-fuel rail and regulator. walbro fuel pump low impedance 450cc inj w/ res box. when i got this turbo in, it was running super rich... so i read the adjustable reg inst. and it said it needed a bigger orifce installed it and got rid of rough idle but had to turn adjustment all the way down to get to run normally ( no black smoke and smooth) IS THE REGULATOR OVER RIDDEN BY THE NEW INJECTORS???

Welcome, nice ride....35K on a 00' is really low. How much was did ur custom turbo set up cost?

 

ended up with all the pipipng, intercoler, t3, manifold, bov, injectors w box, wastgate and lines for around $1300

 

If I were you Id get a chipped P28 and get that sucker dyno tuned. Nice whip.
