hey jus wondering, most of u guys have some real dark tints on ur windows...cops dont harrass ya'll about em or do u jus not care or wat % is legal wherever ur from? im in ny so ours is 30n ended upgettin 35...n i was jus peepin old ride of da month nominees n damn those r sum hot cars, i got a lot of work to do to be in there sumday but i like ya'll site a lot n am sure i'll get help along da way :*D

well the rear windows can be as dark as you want them but mine are to the legal limit, in different lighting they can look darker as well.

 

my bro got sited for 5% on the front while he had 5 on the rear, they said they didnt care about that just the front, so he peeled it off, went and showed the cops and went and got 15% put on the front...

well yea i the law here is 30 or 35 but hes had 15 for about 6-7 months now and has been pulled over for over things with no warnings...

lucky you guys who have limits of 30. im in illinois. the front windows cant have ANY tint unless it came from the factory (which basically means if you drive an expensive car you can get away with anything you want).

they give tickets tho. i dont understand the stupid law. i had 10's on my civic and i got pulled over a few times and was given warnings. but then i got in an accident and they gave me a ticket for the tints because 'it was a contributing factor to the accident' which is bullchit because some girl just pulled out in front of me... had nothing to do with tints. but i ended up havin to pay 130 bux in court costs for that ticket.

im gettin 5's put on the back 3 windows of my gtiasap. i dont like how people can look right in and see my system.

most people on here i think keep it legal, unless you know the cops in your area dont say anything, or its just a track/show car

 

yours is as dark as u can go? i can see through it. mines limo tinted in the rear and i cant see through it for the life of me, lol. the front is lighter but u cant see through it unless the light shines at a certain angle other than that it looks like a mirror. and yeah my brother is a local cop but that dont change much, lol.
