I know there was talk about doin it again but that was a while ago. Anyone would be down for doing another music swap? I thought it was pretty sick [8D]Put me down on the list, i wanna do it again

HCF MUSIC SWAP Rev 3.0

Rules: If you sign up you'll be put in a group of 3-5 people and you'll make a CD ( at least 12 songs) of your favorite jamz and send it to the other members of your group. That means you'll be getting 2-4 CDs from other members of the forum.

First off, reply to this thread with nothing more than you're in, I'll close registration a week from today, May 1st (assuming enough people sign up.) At that time I'll randomly pick groups and it will be expected that you'll send out your addresses via Personal Message to the other members of your group within 3 days, DO NOT POST YOUR ADDRESS ON THE FORUM! Once you have everyone's address you'll have a week to send out your CDs or you'll get my angry eyes.

All CDs must be in standard format and playable in any CD player. Any questions, shoot me a PM.

im in.......even though there looks like a lot of rockers in this group lol u should make the groups based off the genre's....rock ppl with rock ppl, rap ppl with rap ppl and so on...............just a suggestion if it wasnt a major pain in the @ss to do........mixing and matchin, listenin to new stuff is cool too

I am on my way to the P O to mail mine this morning so whiterabbit and my04 should get there cd in the middle of the week.

igot addy's but i haven't had time to make them yet. but soon. i need to get more cd's on the computer before the mix is complete [sm=gobble.gif]

My group should get them Monday or Tuesday.

BTW, The last four songs on the mix are from a band I have been working with. Let me know what you think. The recordings are not great, but I wanted to get some feedback about them. LOL

Hey guys I'm in the process of moving and I lost the CD's for everyone in my group! Once I get unpacked and find them I'll ship them out so don't worry I didn't forget about everyone!

windcalmer, got the cds. thanks for the magnet. will be shipping the cds out on thursday since thats when finals are over:D

been busy as hell with prom, getting a new job, tennis meets everyday and getting ready for graduation, i'll have the CDs out ASAP, sorry you guys :eek:

how are u guys mailing them? i put mine in the biggest envelope i could find and they kinda stick out a little ghetto styleand the mailman wont take the damn things from my box! Did u put them in those yellow shipping type envelope things or what??? lol nothing is ever easy

maybe its cuz there changing postage rates and crap..maybe you didnt have enough? but im pretty sure you have to take them to the PO so they can weigh them and stuff

guys...im graduating in 3 days...and i have to work 5pm to 10 pm and get up at 6:30 all week for school...so, my computer...(not the family one) is at my aunts (next door, had a LAN party forever ago) its got about 5 gigs of music so if i can get its old ass to burn a disc (some times i cant make mixes...but i think i got it solved) ill have a pretty sweet random mix...you may even get some original Halo out takes...:D but ill get them out ASAP...i have no work or school friday so ill prolly get them done and send them monday....

I put mine in those cushioned mailers they have at the post office. They cost about $1.50 each and then like $1.30 to ship them each. I think total I spent about $7 or $8 for all three CDs to be shipped. I also put the CD into a DIY cover made from a folded sheet of paper. That way they didn't get cratched up in the mail.

i have mine done, and as soon as tyler sends me his address, i can send them off (I'm not making two trips to the post office)

Yeah... I've been a bad/super busymoderator. I'll have the CDs out by the end of the week. I've been "collecting" some new music to stick on it.
