Autocross and Road Course Racing - race video from yesterday

raced yesterday at Fed Ex Stadium with DC Region. was a great day weather and race wise. was alot of run as always and i liked the course. i got the new Hawk HPS brake pads on wednesday and really got to test em out yesterday and wow, i love em. the are very grippy compared to the oem ones and sure do stop lol. seems like i can brake a lil later and harder and the Azenis sure as hell help with stopping distance with hard braking.

first run. went into the first big slalom without rhythm and because of that, spun out at the end[:@] i knew in the middle of it, i was prolly going to, but insted of slowing down and trying to regain control, i just keept goin..costly mistake haha. but luckily it was just the first run so not a big deal.

second run. clean and i think i did very well in the slaloms this time.

third run. decent run, back end slid out a couple times and i knew after i could have braked later and hard.

forth run. was good and my best run of the day but because i was thinking from the 3 run "brake later and harder", i hit the brakes a lil too hard at the spot i spun out before, locked up and cost me a lot of time there:(

took 5th out of 10 in STS. i really need to step it up a notch for this region, these ppl are just too good and close competition. hopefully ill be able to take another Novice school next month..

AJ, let me know when there's a novice school running. Philly region only has it once a year and I missed it. I'm hoping I can go up your way a few more times this year. Gonna run at Boeing this weekend on the 27th. Hopefully on Hoosiers and with a 1" RARB:-D

all the next schools are filled up, ill let u know as soon as a level 1 opens up. i need to get either another level 2 or level 3 school badly...the level 1 schools for the D.C. Region are only held at FedEx Field stadium, which is quite the hike for u i figure.

I don't mind driving if it's not f-en raining...Philly region events moved even earlier into the morning so I gotta wake up at like 5:30am on a sunday morning to run in the first group...
