Thanks INJENalltheway 05-16-2007, 07:25 PM Are you going to be boosted or doing any major internal work? If not, there really is no point. aryiman98civic 05-16-2007, 07:38 PM doesnt matter when vtec kicks in. id set it for stock which is 5600 i believe. also a chipped ecu isnt really a good idea unless you have some major mods under the hood: sc, turbo, etc. FlipHKD720 05-16-2007, 08:25 PM leave VTEC where its at, Honda already set it to get max potential out of both high and low lobes, dont mess with it. And why ru chipping/tuning your ECU, just out of curiosity? burnindesirez02 05-17-2007, 03:25 AM In a few months im getting a turbo. Thats why im getting a chipped ecu. Thanks Forty04 05-17-2007, 04:09 AM Leave your stock ecu in until you've actually got the turbo, and are beginning the install. You're just pissing away money if you get it chipped and tuned before all that, and you won't gain more than a few horses. Everyone "says" their getting a turbo soon, but rarely do they actually follow through and do it. johnny 05-17-2007, 04:27 AM Very true Forty. burnindesirez02 05-27-2007, 07:46 PM Well as i found out i can actually get a B18 for a cheaper price than a turbo...so im going with that this summer... ic892003 05-27-2007, 09:05 PM ORIGINAL: Forty04 Leave your stock ecu in until you've actually got the turbo, and are beginning the install.
