Fuel injector upgrade.
Im thinking about getting some bigger fuel injectors for my 93 ex with the D16z6, just want some opinions on this set up that I found on ebay. It includes the 270cc injectors and wiring clips. Are they any good?

I just found out for sure that the injectors won't work with the manifold and or the fuel rail on the 4th gen civics. I guess I'll just keep looking for the 280cc prulude injectors.
rite but what im sayin is.......if uve already got 240 injectors goin to 280 aint goin to do much..........im guessing u have a goal of sending more fuel to your engine for an increase in power........so what i suggest u do is get urself a high flow fuel pump like the walbro 255lph and a grab an AEM fuel pressure regulator so u can adjust it.......and THEN get the injectors..............just tossin new injectors alone isnt going to give u what u think.
what i was gonna do is get the 280 injectors, fuel pressure regulator and eventually the fuel rail. I was told the stock fuel pump should keep up just fine. How much more pressure can the stock 240cc injectors take? The stock fuel pressure I believe is 43 psi. Say with a fuel pressure regulator can I pump up the pressure to 50 psi?
the stock pump can handle them but if u get a walbro itll be able to handle it better.............im not sure about the 50psi but if ur plannin on getting new injectors anyway id give it a shot and see what happens........worse case they get ****ed up and u get the new ones.....................if it were me and i was goin to get new injectors id get better than 280 cuz itll only be like 60 more dollars for the upgrade./
The only reason I was thinking 280cc is because Sacicons told me to get those considering my mod list which is under the post. I don't wanna go too big other wise I'll be rich.
i dont think that Venom is adjustable. 280 should be great for a highly modded all motor d. if you go too big, it will run rich, hurting power and ruining gas mileage. but if you go too small, they can run too long of a duty cycle, and stick open. and that causes all sorts of problems.
While we are on the subject, how big of injectors shoiuld I Get for my turbo. Im going to be running 10 pounds/street, 15 pounds/track on my d16y8???? I know my kit comes with some but I don't remember which size they are.
BTW I rode in my friends turbo'd celica gts last night while we were tuning it with his emanage, and all I can say is, I can't Wait to get my turbo in!!!!!!!!! The BOV was so sweet. The emanage is pretty tight too I'm going to have fun workin with mine.
