hey guy,
just joined the forum 2nite so pretty new 2 this, but just seeing if any one can help me? im looking for a carbon bonnet for a 95 eg. hope some one can help

u can help us by typing "to" instead of "2" first. I have a carbon hood on my EG, what kind of help do you need?

im looking to buy one for my eg but the price is sky high and looking for some place i can get the cheaper? and does carbon get hot?

it doesnt get any hotter than the rest of your car, just keep wax on it to keep the coating in good shape so it doesnt look hazy after a few months. I caught an eBay promo from Raceonusa.com. $450 including shipping. I say try ebay if you're wallet is tight and do some research on the company before you buy. See if they have a real company website and not just an ebay store.

dont cheap out on a hood or you will end up with a warped hood. pay the money for one thats going to hold up.

+1, if you search google you can find all the horr stories about cheaping out on CF.

yes they do. It should look like a normal hood. But just weight a lot less.Thats the only differance between a regular hood and cf hood.

i always suggest when you get the hood take it to the local body shop and have them spray some clear coat on it. had it done to my ex's car and it looked great and didn't fade
