The full coilover has the adjusting sleeves intergrated into the shock itself. So, there is no separate sleeveless.

Full coilover:

With the non-full coilovers, you get a sleeve that fits over your shock. You have to use rubber o-rings inside the sleeves to prevent sleeve wobbling. With the sleeves, you can use any shock you want, although I would suggest getting some nice ones that can handle it.

non-full Coilover:

If you have a lot of money, I suggest the full coilovers:
-they are already together,
-there are no o-rings involved
-less install time

If you don't have a lot, I suggest the non-full because,
-if one shock blows on you, you can replace that one shock and won't have you spend a ton on the full coil shock
-cheaper for sure!

I have the non-full, Bomz Racing Coilovers (eBay) and KYB AGX shocks. I've had 'em for 3 years and no problems thus far.

this may be true for your ebay parts but it's not true for everything.

as far as extra install time... it's like 5 extra minutes to take the tophat off your stock shock and put it on the new shock, don't let that discourage you.

see my Koni and Ground Control review in the 6th gen Product Review forum. You can't beat their performance for the money.
