didder 08-02-2008, 01:34 PM its not that im lazy, its that my car is 64 miles away... and its hard to get up there, been on vacation for 2 weeks... im getting more annoyed every day Live_4it 08-02-2008, 03:18 PM your a true warrior. don't let the car get the best of you. I forget to check out this thread, I will more often. Dam that is one hell of an awesome setup. I forget if you said that you go to turbod16 or not. You'll find a lot of helpful info there didder 08-17-2008, 03:15 PM fixed the fuel pump problem!!!! the car runs!!!!!! and it runs like its supposed to!!!! problem was: -my idle needed adjusted so i removed my throttle body, well, i accidently pulled my map sensor switch ground out and i couldnt see it behind the electrical tape, causing my fuel pump not to engage because no readings from the map. its noisy and clattery but thats because its cammed, and totally built, will be dynoing friday night or saturday! wish me luck, pray she doesnt blow, ill get you all pics and vids asap a monster was born on 8/16/08 :) GReddy_Civic 08-17-2008, 03:59 PM congrats bro, bout time. I want vids, like now, or ban didder 08-20-2008, 03:49 PM well your videos / tune or going to have to wait, i have a ton of heat transferring from my downpipe into my intercooler pipe right out of turbo, i need to wrap up the downpipe.. other problems consist of oil line ricer rig not working out, ordered a new fitting because i broke the original, i also have to route my dump into my downpipe in order for the fitting to work (which is actually a better look / better way anyway, i was just lazy) so heat wrap (to keep heat in), new 45 hose end, and an intake jacket (to keep out heat), route dump into down pipe, throw some of that sweet radiator stuff that keeps the motor even cooler, and then tune!! also to come: 1.) slim fan on a/c (cut down on weight and give me more clearance its really tight) 2.) ground wire kit 3.) tranny rebuild (4.9 final drive and complete rebuild, can you say torque!?) GReddy_Civic 08-20-2008, 07:02 PM im mad at you, we're getting a divorce...errr i mean, i dont think any of this is happening. I think i need pickchas to keep me entertained didder 08-24-2008, 11:14 AM camera is down lol, you had pictures but the site went retardo and screwed everything up :( GReddy_Civic 08-24-2008, 06:49 PM we're over, dickbutt didder 09-06-2008, 02:42 PM greddy, this will make you happy, im getting tuned wed, thurs, or friday lol over this week i: 1.) removed oil pan, retapped it to a better place so it wasnt hitting my downpipe (around the backside) reinstalled it with a copper gasket 2.) removed downpipe and wrapped it, and sprayed it with a sylicone sealer so that my intercooler piping doesn't get heat soaked. 3.) clocked the turbo forward a little so that the intercooler piping is farther away from down pipe. 4.) had to re remove my oil pan and put oem gasket because copper gasket leaked !!! and then reinstall downpipe / dump (they need to come off in order to remove oil pan) 5.) fixed broken valve cover threads, had to remove both rocker arm tubes and rockers in order to replace the piece.... 6.) installed new fuel pressure regulator / fuel filter. now greddy, ill make you happy and give you a video in 2 weeks tops :) promise. im saving the dyno vid for my finale, because i talked to my tuner today, were talking 350-400whp on 92 octane with my setup, i dont think ill get that much on 550cc's but hes confident... next video will a compilation of me whipping car after car at the local street races :) GReddy_Civic 09-06-2008, 03:15 PM hahaha YAYAYAYA! bout damn time btw. so whats the pros/cons of a copper gasket? FlipHKD720 09-06-2008, 04:01 PM daaaaamn can't wait for the video! didder 09-07-2008, 08:08 AM everything :) i use it in the corners on my valve cover, my downpipe-turbo flange, and pretty anywhere you want... it'll replace a gasket if you are in a pinch basically, and it can handle a lot of heat so it holds up... it actually did work on my oil pan, i didnt realize i the oil was leaking down the side of the block out of the valve cover between the one of the corners... downside to copper gasket, oem is better :) GReddy_Civic 09-08-2008, 06:46 PM aww youre a weenie. You spent all this money and cant buy an oem gasket or two? youre dead to me :D didder 09-11-2008, 03:48 PM i use oem and copper gasket in the proper perportions :) UPDATE!!!::: Brought the car to "full blown motorsports" today, LJ is amazing, so much was wrong! im probably going to have a $1000+ bill and im not even mad lol heres what he fixed: my car was loud as hell, he popped open my valve cover realized something was on backwards (i didnt install anything internal) switched it around and its quiet as stock. he upgraded my boost controller (the one phearable send out are OLD AND OUTDATED!! AND BOOST CREEP AT HIGH BOOST!!!!) So he gave me the latest one... he installed a new aem fuel pressure regulator for $100 (freaking steal) i bought a new tps sensor, it was junk! had no voltage, he installed a new one... and to end the day, as we were just about to tune, we couldnt get the car to idle because the venom intake mani wouldnt allow the car to surge because of no iacv, so tomorrow i have to do a iacv relocation and we are set for the POWER PULLS! it hurts to watch them say stuff doesnt work and just watch my $$$ creep away :( so tomorrow, ill get you numbers, and video will be up by sunday hopefully (will have tune, friday nights races etc... but wont be edited so it will be pretty long and winded but im sure you wont care) wish me luck PRAY SHE DOESNT BLOW! -DiDDeR GReddy_Civic 09-11-2008, 04:11 PM haha good luck bro, bout time didder 09-11-2008, 04:19 PM my wallet hurts, so bad, so so bad, like so bad... IT HURTS! GReddy_Civic 09-11-2008, 04:46 PM sidenote...I want it edited....so like, edit it. Kthanks, or at least send me the vids and ill edit it :D didder 09-11-2008, 07:50 PM your vids suck, 2 minutes of BOORING... mine are illegal street racing FUN, and or a motor blowing up GReddy_Civic 09-12-2008, 04:06 AM hahahaha dickbutt didder 09-12-2008, 01:12 PM cost of tune, all the parts, and everything $1300, on the plus side, my bov sounds cool! car was on dyno 6 hours!!! issues we came upon::: 1.) spark plug gapping wouldnt let us get over 245whp 2.) my bbk throttle body wouldnt read my tps sensor so i have no 1/4 (omg so annoying) 3.) my godspeed intercooler was very restrictive, would not give me any more power over 15psi, we had it at 20 and it gave the same power as 15, """dont buy a godspeed intercooler unless you aernt looking for a lot of power"""" 4.) phearable gave me a defaulty boost controller, it didnt work! we had to tune it with a manuel. that ass clown 5.) the dyno and my car wouldnt read my rpm the same screwing everything up on the dyno pulls. 6.) my car says its near overheating, but when we shoot it with a temp sensor it reads right at optimum, which scared LJ for a while lol 7.) my friends kept making fun of me for driving a honda (the worst part) 8.) the supra next to me making 800whp made me sad (2nd worst part) so... we are planning a re-tune as soon as i get a new throttle body, phearable fixes my ecu, and i get a better flowing intercooler... LJ said my intercooler is making my turbo act like a t25 at high boost, its flowing 18 lbs, but its not at the same volume as a t3/t4 so it SUCKS! heres my sheet, sorry its not as good as it should be... add 6% for a dynojet, so on a dynojet its making 302whp and just over 205wtq sheets in attachment, im kind of embarrassed of it p.s. if you look at my curve, at 5700 rpm it really starts acting up, when i fix the issue on 15 psi follow that curve to 7k, should be around 300+ on 15 psi lol didder 09-12-2008, 04:09 PM heres a video for greddy the douche fag! and all you other great members who been rooting me on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARW1VHTVteg GReddy_Civic 09-12-2008, 09:07 PM haha SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT ON THE VID! so what do you plan on doing about that problem? didder 09-13-2008, 12:12 PM going to vendalia street and drag racing a couple of v8s? sounds about right.. didder 10-02-2008, 04:31 PM well guess what!?!? after about 1.2k of miles torturing my new monster my shift linkage went out, INSIDE MY TRANNY, im locked in fourth gear. my shifter clicks into 1-5-r but stays in 4th... oh well TIME TO GET THAT LIGHTWEIGHT FLYWHEEL (12lbs machining my own mwaha) also time ot get my new bearings / synchros / speedo gear back / fork linkage installed :) btw, my linkage went out racing a turbod prelude type-sh, it was an 80 roll and i walked all over his ass until the top of fourth (130ish??) were talking 5-6 car lenghts, then i tried to shift to 5th to see how far he would chase me (3 am on a 4 lane highway that was deserted dont bitch at me) but it got stuck in 4th lol, drove all the way home in 4th and parked it... oh p.s. i figured out why my numbers were so low, my ebay distributor wasn't putting out enough spark, after 15-16psi the spark was being blown out by the air pressure lol... also, i reduced my inlet from 3" to 2.5", so after i fix these 3 problems i will be shooting to max out the 550cc's (should be 325whp++) wish me luck, hope nothing else brakes one more p.s. me and my friends finally decided on a license plate name """NOTORQE"" how awesome is that? -didder GReddy_Civic 10-02-2008, 04:54 PM eBay strikes again didder 10-08-2008, 02:03 PM ebay distributor works flawlessly under 13psi, after that it starts to break up a little and cant do anymore after 16 :( GOOD DAY FOR EBAY, picked up a d16z6 del sol si trans today for 400 shipped, 4.25 final drive instead of 4.025 YEAAAAAAAAA |
