Default S techs with 17 45 215

I need to replace my cheapo ebay coilovers (bad choice), and the whole concept of a cheapadjustable coilovers, just doesnt work for me anymore. I kno the ride comfort is sustained with the s-techs and have been around here long enough to kno that ppl like them. But will they rub with 17 45 215? im ready to buy them now but im not sure if there will be problems, and i want the lowest possible drop with the least amount of rubbing (taking turns with the wheel fully turned is acceptable, but going over medium sized bumps is not) I havnt found anyone thats running that wheel size with S techs so i am skeptical, but hopeful........or will i have to go with h techs? Help me out ppl

those tires are WAYYY too big for your car. If you aren't going to buy the right size then I doubt you'll be able to go any lower than it is now

if you want s techs, then you NEED 205/40/R17's, either get rid of your current tires or don't drop it.

lol its dropped at least 2 inches now, absolutly no fender gap It doesnt rub because it is so stiff (in turn bouncy as f*** with blown shocks) on a road without any bumps, but smalll potholes and bumps cause a little bit of rubbing........im willing to add some fender gap with the 1.7/1.9 inch drop but i dont think the s techs will be as stiff, therefore rubbing wen i drive anywhere. I have adjusted the coilovers to a point where i can get 1.5/2 fingers in the wheel well and it doesnt rub even wen i go over large bumps, so thats what i want....but the ride quality is so poor i need to get lowering springs and new shocks. From your post mxs imma say that the S techs are not a good option lol i guess H techs will havta do

if your struts are blown, why are you worried about fixing the ride height, replace the struts first, then get some springs to get the preferable ride height.

exactly what I was going to say

heck, you might even be able to KEEP your ebay coilovers if you get good shocks...
