is the sohc d16y8 or the d16y7 with the d16y8 head on it better aka the "mini me" shouldnt the mini mi be better than just the d16y8because its changing compressions and stuff like that? someone help me.

the bottom ends are basicly identical. the y8 just has slightly more compression and well vtec which adds some more power

the y8 head design makes it lower compression, not the block itself
