so about 2 months ago my neighbor pulled up when i was working on my speaker box and told me that i need to watch my driving because "the neighbors are complaining" and "they want to call the CHP on me" and i was respectful and said oh...thanks for the heads up and not and he slowly drove away in his raised dodge ram (guys about 70) the next day my neighbor accross the street came over...and said did that fkn prick come over you and tell you to watch your driving? that guys full of shiit, hes such a fkn pric, dont even wory. and he said the neighbors are complaining? what the hell, no their not, ill look into this.

he then went off about how the older guy said he could kick my cool neighbors ass and then the cool neighbor grabbed the older guy by the balls and slammed him on the ground.....lol

any who, i was driving onto my block and i turned onto my street at about 25 mph which really isnt that fast of a turn and there were no cars parked on the side of the road and there are no kids on my block and its day light, and the guy right after i finished backing into my drive way comes up in his ram and starts yelling at me telling me hes gunna call the cops and i already warned you once and blablablalblab until i just kinda walked into my house while he was talking until he drove away.

seriously, if he called the cops, what would happen? they cant give me a ticket for somthing he said.

any experiences

No the cops could not give you a ticket. They have to have proof that you drove badly, and more proof then some old prick with a big mouth. The worst that could happen is the old guy could write a ticket against you, but I doubt he would do that. It's your word against his-- therefore nothing.

I would watch my driving in your neighborhood. There is an old guy in my neighborhood that yelled at me cause he said i was doing 50MPH in a 25 on my bike (could have been true). He was just pissed cause i scared the **** out of his dog and the dog nearly chased me down the street. Anyway, the old guy will call the cops, he has nothing better to do. The cop can't really write you a ticket until he sees you do something but that just means that one day a cop might be hiding somewhere waiting for you. I ride pretty fast and make a lot of noise on my bike and I've seen more cops around my neighborhood lately. I might just be paranoid but there really isn't any reason for cops to be sitting where they are sitting other than to get me. I keep my eyes peeled for cops all the time but pissing off the neighbors isn't really going to help you any and its not worth it IMO.

I'd say be careful in the neighborhoods... these days you never know who is going to lose it and smash in your window or pop your tires.

i've got neighbors with ages ranging from 18-70's, and they all drive crazy down my street and all go twice as fast as i drive. plus i live near a boat landing so all of the rich dumb****s with their brand new heavy duty trucks pulling 10 ton boats that take up both lanes alwayspiss me off.

One time someone complained about how fast I was driving. I've been in my neighborhood for over 20 years and this random asshole just starts bitching about what I do in my hood. Yelled at me as I was driving, told me to "come back here, I need to talk to you." I asked him what the eff for and he start going on about my speed and ****, so I peeled out on his ass mid sentance and went home.

But I live in the ghetto and you don't disrespect people by yelling at them and making them stop and ****. If anything had happened to my car people know me and his ass would've been jumped in no time. We don't call the police around here.

However, crotchety old people in decent neighborhood.. that's a different story. I'd probably be more worried about that than anyone around here.

well ill watch out for cops, but i think in my neck of the woods they have more important things to do then wait for some 17 year old kid when every night you can here the street races right off the same street i turn on....lol, last year some cop got shot in the face by my house by some guy in a civic....IDK....the guy just needs to chill out and stop complaining. Im not doing anything wrong he just likes driving 2mph down our street and not mowing his lawn and not taking his trash cans in....so EF it man. thanks for the comments, made me feel better...lol

Old people are always upset about something. I wouldn't worry about it. You just as much right to drive on that road as much as he does.
