General Civic Talk - Is anyone faster?

After a trip to the track I now have a 12.37 time slip with a trap speed of 122 mph. Anyone faster? Didn't think so.

You need to work on your launch, son. I trapped 12.83 @ 109 on my stock motor... :D.

Yeah, but still... if you can slip <12.4 @ 122, you could do significantly better if you could keep the power on the ground.

My buddy has a 2000 LX, only mods are: AEM cold air return, DC Sports header, and N1 catback exhaust. His time trial was 12.64 @ 117mph.
I think there's a lot of Civs out there faster.

Ehh, I was concentrating more on launching than the lights. Plus, I was running an FD and wanted to give him a little bit of a lead, just to embarass him. This was just test and tune, BTW.

bet you coulda shaved it down to 11.5 if u had a quicker start

you know i just had to get my time in ;) i miss 1/4 mile:( my best on the 1/4 13.6 but cant remember the mph, in my old b16 crx.

There are a couple low 11 and 10 second swap turbo cars around my area that are "street legal". But there is always someone faster........

I don't know why, but I figured I would post it in here. If you want to talk about high trap speeds, my friend Jason in his MKIV Supra ran a 13.2 @ 136. Traction pwns teh Supra.
