I was flipping through the pages of the August Super Street issue (great issue.. both EK's are absolutely beautiful) when I thought of something... does brake caliper placement reallymake a difference? Like, is there a specific spot on the rotorthat brake calipers work best, or is it just wherever thecar's designersthink looks cool?

It depends on the design and usage of the vehicle. H1s use inboard discs to help keep the brakes clear of debris. Many hi-po cars place the brakes for best cooling, which may be altered with ducted bodywork. Most other vehicles don't really matter as long as they drain muck and cool sufficiently.
