EG Swaps - b116 or ls that is the question

well a friend of mine is getting a ls (just the motor) for about 500. hes gonna need a b-series tranny and the ecu. for the swap. which would run him about close to 700 more. i told to just get a b16 because its a easy swap plus you can get the package also v-tec. what do you guys think b16 or ls????

IMO depends on what he wants to do with this set up. all motor id go b16 or even ls/vtec if built properly. the ls will take well to boost and nitrous.

yeh i told him since hes on low budget to get the deal on the b18 and hopefully find a ecu and a tranny. he wanted to boost like what im going to do so indeed the ls is better on that part. but he might all motor dont know i'll check back thanks alot.
