General Civic Talk - I have no idea what to get, the SI coupe or the SI sedan

I'm going to be getting an SI soon and I have no idea which body style I should get, I'm very torn between the two. When making this decision I'm only thinking about looks, not anything like extra cargo space, etc . It would be a no brainer for me if if the coupe had the same rear as the sedan.
What do you like more ?

No offense, but screw that. I say get the coupe. For one, the coupe weighs less, two, it's more sporty, and three... the coupe looks better. :D

Sedan > Coupe all day long. You'll grow to hate the coupe

coupe > sedan for eternity. i've had a sedan before (not a civic), but i love coupes. always sportier looking, and i don't really need the extra room/weight. i've moved several times with two different coupes, and while i admit it would be easier to load stuff into the back with the extra door, i managed just fine...not to mention you don't move every month or anything like that.
also, as a matter of personal taste, i just like the styling of the rear on the coupes much better.

For one, the coupe weighs less
sedan is only ~60lbs heavier, not a noticable difference.

Ehhh i have and black coupe and love it. but there are time were i think a sedan would have been better.
how much are you going to be useing you back seats? you drive alot of ppl around? have kids? have lots of **** that allways stays in your car?. i say coupe but i dont use my back seat at all.

marginal..but so is the performance gain from an intake or an exhaust. but when all is said and done..all the marginal gains do add up.
also, i'd say don't go by what everyone has or doesn't have; get what you want. i honestly don't see many of the new ones out on the road anyway...and from what i have seen, a decent amount of them (close to have +/-) were sedans.
i agree with the last two posts though..if you have kids, get the sedan, if you are always loading stuff into your car or always have people in the back, also it could be worth it to get the sedan. as with bourgeoisx, i basically never use my back seat, so the coupe was definitely the right choice for me.

goo for the coupe....much nicer
4 votes sedan
7 votes coupe
+1 for the coupe!!
-the car is for YOU and not the people in your back seat!
-The seats are also way nicer in the coupe, the boulstering goes much higher ... (don't know if the SI sedan has it or not??)
-I also find the door ends in an awkward place on any 4dr, so when i look to the left, i have a huge obstruction of the end of the door in my face. coupes have a longer door so you miss that. It just seems nicer!
If you do go for the sedan, I think it looks way better with a bit of a spoiler in the back. Nothing big, just the one they have for the 4dr si (which you are looking at anyways). It just seems to balance the car's appearance.
i've got a 2dr 07 coupe LX, royal blue pearl and I love it! SI would have been nice but was out of the budget, and I went for the fuel economy

i say sedan. i just love em :)
I think colour is personal preference. It really has to reflect you. I think that all of the colours are pretty nice. I went for the royal blue pearl. It is a super dark blue.
A lot also depends on how much you want to clean it. A white or silver will look the cleanest where a dark blue or black shows every little piece of dust.

Its a personal perference! I would say coupe cause it just looks and feels sportier but a sedan can really come in handy if u have children and/or lots of stuff to hawl around often. But in the end its all up to you!!!! (by the way the title of this thread is kinda confusing cause I didn't know the SI came as a sedan but maybe it does lol)

Also i hate how the rear looks on the coupe.
Sedan sedan sedan sedan sedan all the way
I checked out both yesterday. Pulling into the dealer, I had my mind set on a coupe. But I discovered I actually liked the looks of the 4-door better. The coupe has very large body panels that just seem too big for such a small car to me. I had the same thought on the Si and the LX. I'm guessing the market is there since the Si used to be only available as a coupe.

coupe all day. for one your getting an si the whole point of an si is it is sportier then reg. so why get 4dr? coupes look better, weighs less(i no it doesnt weigh a lot less, but still less), more aerodynamic, your getting a sports car(si) so get it how it is supposed to be. COUPE!!!

I just purchased a sedan 2 days ago and I love it. I have flexibility in back ifI need it, along with an infantscar seat. In-laws both fit with the car seat installed. The extra room doesn't take away the volume from the exhaust singin' in the upper rev limits either. It's my 1st Honda (ex-Subie user) and I can't find a complaint yet in almost 300 miles.
