Engine & Internal - Engine Swap

hey, I blew the motor in my 94 civic ex. I'm planning to swap it, but first I was wondering, what are my options for a direct bolt on swap? I mean, I know I can swap in another z6, or a y8, or a D15b, but are there any other easy swaps I could do? And which do you recommend?

well other than the above D series engines you can swap a B series. You will need linkage, mounts, axles, ecu, engine/tranny, harness for a B16/B18/B20

I believe almostany D-series will drop right in (I'm not sure about the D17 or the ZC though).

Out of the B-series, I believe the B16 is the easiest to swap to (since it was originally from a civic (and/or del sol), not a teggy), though it provides the least out-of-the-box power of the B's. Still, I think pretty much any B-series will be a fairly simple swap.

Basically, if it's not a D and it's not a B, it's probably semi-difficult to swap to.

AB series is a B series not one is harder to swap than another, BTW is there any way you can search as this topics is beat to absolute death.

yeah, I know this topic's been covered, and I know about the B series, I was mostly curious about an F22, since it's an accord motor, is cheap, and has 160hp stock. Would that be a fairly simple swap?

perfect time to swap in ahigher output motor...... to make things more simple, go with a bseries either a b18b or b18c1

do up a B20VTEC with a B16 tranny! She'll rev at 4500 rpm at 80mph but itl take off like a bat out of hell.
