EK Swaps - *Engine swap*

Out of the B-18c, and the b-16a2. Which one would be the best for my 98 honda civic, as far as more hp with mods, like rebuilt engine l (cams pistons, turbo, etc....)
I can afford either one. Which one will hold up the best hp wise. Just would like to know which one would be the best for my car.Which one is better.

Hands down b18c

yeah...B18 is a bigger engine (1.8L as opposed to the 1.6 of the B16) and i believe it has a higher compression ratio. and in all responds better to FI

but its also a good 500-1.5k more expensive ;)

eighteen. no doubt. if youve got the money, definately. best combo for boost, get the b18c1 block, and swap on a type r head with a gsr intake cam, and the type r exhaust cam. (usdm block) 9.7:1 compression, and quicker spool because of the bigger exhaust cam.
