Hi everyone,
I am new here, so I hope this is the proper place to post this question.
We will be buying my parents 2003 Honda Civic DX in the next few weeks, and I have a question about it. I noticed that when I am leaving the vehicle and try to lock the doors using the power switch on the inside of the driver's door, it looks all the doors EXCEPT for the driver's door. I have to lock that one (or may as well do all of them then) with the keyless entry lock on the keychain. My husband believes that this is just a safety feature from Honda to prevent people from locking their keys inside the car, but I am not sure and thought maybe there is something wrong with the lock. I've never had a problem locking any other vehicle this way in the past? Thanks for your help. I was going to ask the dealership about it when we take it in for an oil change, but thought I'd ask you people here first since you seem to be experts at this sort of thing. Thanks!!
