Nitrous, Super Chargers, & Turbos - engine swap Q's (D14 to a B16)

hi ya all out there
now then, today i popped down sumo power to ask about d16 tuning parts, the reply i got was 'dont bother with em their is so much more for a b16'. so my question is can i swap my d14 for a b16? in other words, are the mounts the same or does it mean welding, cutting or burning. obvious things like changing wiring looms and the ecu, i dont mind the wiring side of thingsbut i dont really want to start hacking my car up.

Wrong section but you would need motor mounts, trasmission, shift linkage, ecu,engine harnessand a few other things. The most you might have to do it shape the metal with a hammer in the engine bay a little but I don't think you would have to and it isn't a big deal if you do need to.

in my opinion, the search function is ftw! Also in my opinion, B16's are the suck and not worth their price. Do it right the first time and you wont regret it. Next time, use the search function because questions similar to these have been asked more times than anyone can remember. kthx
