I personally have to have wheels and a suspension drop first.

 

Thanks and I'm going for Performance first and some looks later. I plan to run my car in HS class in SCCA Solo 2. Then later run it in STS. So for now I want Adjustable Struts and drop Springs. Also I have the SOHC 1.6 Liter motor thats non VTEC. I want to know what the engine code for it is and I heard I can get the VTEC head off another SOHC motor is this true and where can I get the VTEC head. Thanks again.

 

Solo with SCCA very, good try true coilovers your times will be better, or Tokico Illumina with ground control

Welcome. If you want to add the vtec head to your dx (D16y7), you need to get one from a civic ex (D16y8)

 

SCCA Solo 2 is awsome. I started in HS and am now in STS (soon SM, because of wheel size) like $5000 later, and about to spend another $2500 in suspension and brakes. I am addicted to tuning my Civic.

 

Thanks everyon yeah my boyfriend is into Autocross so I was drawn into it because of that. I want to stay in STS once I get out of HS class in Autocross.
