MPG killed by turbo?

I want to get a turbo once I have the money, but something I love about my civic is that I put between $10 to 15 a week on gas, and giving that up by a whole lot would be a shame. Im just wondering what would be the average decrease

like I said... as long as you stay out of boostyou really wont see much of a change. And thats easier said than done

The only thing is that is hard to stay out of boost

I CAN get 45mpg with my premium guzzling turbo car...but in general I get 18mpg cause I drive in boost with a big grin all the time:-D
