Around $200. anything cheaper is really not worth it. And yes you can buy a kit that is plug and play to use the stock housing. Or you can go for the even better ones but the cost is really high.

Well yeah this is my first post, but how about I've heard good reviews about them, and they come with bulbs, wiring, ballasts, harness.

ya it would be wicked to be able to just put the hid bulbs in stock housings and have bright ass lights.....i'll think about it. for $100 i'll do it.

no, that's not wicked, that's a blinding for oncoming traffic, and also highly illegal.

The 100 dollar ones wont last long at all. maybe like one or two months, then the ballast burns out.

correct.
only legal way for any civic to have HIDs is if you go for a retrofit projector... even then, it's a gray area of legality, as HIDs are not a factory option for a Civic in the US.

I have the bi-xenon HID kit in my 98 civic. The only difference in the regular and the bi-xenon isifyou put the regular kit inyou lossyour high beams and if you put the bi-xenon HIDkit in your car you dont loss anything. The Bi-xenon kits runs for $250 or more. I will recommend the 6000K or the 8000K nothing higher or lower.
