I don't place any stickers on the car, but this one (done tastefully) is one I'd add.

Im pretty good with photoshop... I'll see what I can do. I'll get back with you all.

i have no artistic skills or photoshoping skills. the most i might be able to do is find a shop to make them up.

Just spoke to my designer mate, he is going to run some ideas through his computer program TONIGHT everybody! So when he sends me his ideas through, I will post them up and see what y'all think....

Just an update on the sticker situation, my mate has done up some prototypes and they are running through his computer system (Autocad) as we speak! He should have them for me on Monday morning to take a look at...

Hey just another update, my mate is having some computer problems with optus, but it should be up and running in the very near future.. Bloody computers! We already have a prototype and I'm waiting for approval before I can show everyone. I have a professional vinyl cutter and will be making them myself for the forum. :)

Here is something I did really quick, the idea being it looks like a vendors sticker, also it is honda red white a white background but it can also be just white vinyl.

I like that too, but i think that it should be the whole name so that other people will see it and come check it out.

I think for this design, I don't like the big HCF letters , I would suggest making 2 designs one with the big letters, and one with just www.hondacivicforum.com because I am going to go ahead and get this put on rear side window in white(because my windows are tinted so dark). I am going to go get this done today after work matter of fact. I am going to represent this site for South Carolina.

i forgot who had it, but someone on here has a red 96+ civic coupe, with a bumper and hood? that they are selling, and has a sticker on the side window, i think something like that would work great! simple and ges the message out. let me see if i can find it. i'll post back when i do.

I like that, plain and simple, gets the message across. the only thing different that I would do is possibly make it a little smaller and put all the words together. instead of spacing it, other thatn that, PERFECT!

SICK[sm=crossbonesgif.gif] . Swap the colors though. Make it a vinyl sticker. Black where white is and white where black is. the red should start to show up at the last marker. Other than that, I'd sport it. How big would ou make it? Keep it the same height just make it 2 or 3 inches longer. Then, You're set!

try this barb:

stickers advertising something you dont have in your car, or stickers that dont have anything to do with cars, are rice. if you have an AEM CAI then you can have an AEM sticker without getting flamed (u just have to have proof of having it), but not an Injen sticker. get my drift?

or if youre like my neighbor who has a badly beaten up black civic sedan with "VTEC RACING" that covers the entire car on both sides, and APEX INTEGRATION across the back, yet your factory mid pipe leading into your 6 inch exhaust tip is clearly visable....the do it yourself tint is filled with huge bubbles..

Se7en, If i had to pick one of those it would be the second. But the thin-ness of the lettering doesnt exactly flow with the thickness of the tach...IMO. I dunno, this is just a result of me being bored at work, if the idea dies, its no big deal.. If it does die, i'll find a vinyl cutter and have one made for myself.

Show us a pic of the final thing on your car and by itself. then who ever wants one, you can send them one for a buck or two. or w/e you decide. If you don't like it, don't take it just leave this thread alone. If you like it and want something tweaked a bit, post up!!

Alright, just so we're clear on this. I am NOT a vinyl cutter, nor do i know one. I was reading this thread and noticed people talking about possibly getting HCF stickers of some sort. I was bored at work so I came up with a basic design. I want to get one of these for my car for sure, and am currently searching for a good vinyl cutter, but untill then i have no means of actually producing these. Just so you guys know, i've had a couple tell me they'd take one, but i have no way of producing them...yet

I got the pm. Its just artwork and cash that I need. Im not going to float it and sit on them and sell them off... that is a pain. The rules im my industry are make nothing, sell EVERYTHING. WE could do it outside or inside with HCF (Amanda Admin)

I think it would probably be better to handle it with HCF (Amanda), considering it has so much to do with the site. Lets keep the conversations going on this and try to get something going...

I'm down for this, what, 5 bucks for 2 or 3 stickers. Post up, I still want to do this. How about some pics of the ones tha are going to be used. Or a couple of ones that we can choose same design, different size (ie longet and thinner, shorter and fatter, altogether bigger or mini ones like 1x2 or 2x3 or something). yeah i want to buy one to put just under my 4' vtec racing sticker i have stuck to my totalled fender. ha ha. j/k but i do seriously want to buy a couple. we stunt our stickers on the underside of our hood where i'm from. which doesnt hide them since we have our hood up a good bit.

I went through this whole thread. Still haven't made these yet, huh? I am currently looking for someone to cut decals for SoCalCivic.com. Unfortunately i ran into the same problem with trying to get it cheap, without mass ordering (since I dont have enough people who would purchase these). Would anyone be interested in going together and seeing if we can strike a deal with a company with a combined of HCF and SCC? just a thought. I'm gonna drive around to some places and see if they can get mine done today after work.

If i find a place that's cheap that will do them for about 2 bucks a sticker, i'll let u guys know too! :)

Its not like i'm going to throw huge ass decals all the way down the side of my car, it will still look clean with these little guys in my back windows. What size abouts should they be? I was thinking like a 7"-8" x 1.5"..maybe 2" tall?

Don't take me the wrong way, I never flamed anyone for wanting stickers. I was just telling my opinion.
I woulda thought if an idea was so great and in demand, it woulda been completed before a year was up.

I got my dollars saved for these stickers so lets do this. I dont know of anyone with a cutter, otherwise I would get these done myself. Im not a sticker lover, but these would look nice.

I have 2 small ones right now on my read side windows that says

I see a lot of peeps on here sayin "let's do it, I'm in", but nothins gettin done about it. A few peeps are sayin "I have a pal or friend with a cutter", well, get that cutter workin and make the stickers!

well, my end of it was put into play only about a month or two ago. And don't worry, i was just giving you a hard time negoti8or, i know you're a good guy. I got a response from 1998wagonhatch and it went a lil something like this...

here's what we can do if we do just white letters and white tach and no red on the tach we can do them for $1 a peice as long as there is a big order to make it worth doing. if we do them 1 here 2 there then it would be $2 each.

if red in the tach is needed then the price goes up to $2 each for a big order and $3.50 for individual orders.

adding the red part is easy but time consuming....

i would say a big order would be about 100 total stickers.

What does everyone think? Regardless, i'm having mine made, so thats two. 98 more and we're golden;)

I went down to SpeedWorld and couple of guys have civics but never heard of www.hondacivicforum.com. I gave them the info but it would've been cool to display it on the car.

These HCF stickers are definitely a good way to attract civic owners to the site. I'm definitely in for the stickers.

actually, if we did get to a hundred, i would take ten of them. So that i could find fellow civic tuners and hook them up with one to point them here ya know..

Ok people, Forty04 and I are getting stickers made. If all goes well and so far it is, they will be available in 2 weeks. We havent negotiated price yet though. It will all depend on how much they will cost us.

Will do. So far the stickers are going to be $3-4, because of thier high quality. We are doing a 2 color logo with clear background. But we will go for a 'stick and peel' laser cut logo if the price is right. THe stickers are going to go on the outside of the car simply because some people have window tint and that might end up to be a problem if they were reverxe inside stickers. Ill bring the logo up to show you.

Why do we not do it exactly like the one in the top middle of our screens? with the HondaCivicForum and the website smaller below it and a tach above it hitting redline! then when people see it on the car and then come to the site they see the same thing and know they are in the right place. the only thing i would do different is take the .com off the bigger lettered hondacivicforum. my uncle owns a huge graphics design company i will give him a call have him get the symbol and cut me a couple put them on my car and post some pics if that would be desired.

Let me or remy know what he will charge, and quickly because we are about to hand the job off to another cutter. We ARE using the logo at the top, if you go up this page a little you will see the exact logo. 2"x10" HONDACIVICFORUM.COM with the tach, we have to leave the ".com" because that will make sure when people see it, they know its a website and they will check it out. PM Remy if the deal with your uncle doesnt work out and let him know how many you want.
