Yes, Hasport does make a kit for it. Also, check out hybridracing.com for some info. I know they swapped a K20 into an EG hatch.

Yeah, I tried k20.org, and I got a lot of info from the past forums, as I do here, but when I tried to ask about swapping a K20 into my '96 coupe, all I got was crickets chirping. Then I said h*ll with it, and came here, and got an answer right away from sacicons. I love this place!

I also have a hx body and was thinking k-series but the price is out of this world a motor itself will set you back around $3500 and then the mounts and all the hardware will run around another $2000 not to mention a header at $500 only made by hasport and dc sports and the dc is near a grand. a lsd (quaife runs about 995) and I wouldnt consider anything else really I mean lifetime gurantee and it just seems to work better. After much thought, I just went with a B18C as it really makes more sense for me finacially, but if you can afford that k swap it would be sweet. Hope that helps. Oh yea no air conditioning on K swap to ek body either.

Naaah, man. Try about $4000-4500 for everything, plus about 8-1000 to install plus everything mentioned. But it'll be worth it. And there is a setup that has been done to change the pully position from under to over or vice-versa (can't remember right now) so you can keep PS and AC. I'm hellbent on it, no stoppin' me. Besides, why do you need AC when you're enjoyin' your K with the windows down!!! It'll take me til end of next summer, but it'll be in there one way or another. Thanks for what you came up with though!

Oh, BTW, if you found a complete swap (engine, tranny, ecu, the works) for $3500, could you tell me where, cuz that would help A LOT!!!

You will not find a K20A swap for $3500 lol

Try $5000+++ then about another $1000 to $1500 for the parts alone to make it work in your chassis, then another $1000+ for labor. You are talking in the $7000 to $9000 rnage here man....there is a reason not many do the swap

I just sold one for $3800 and shipped it next day for $130 It had 38,000 miles and had everything included but mounts for your car. And it cannot be done or 800-1000 dollars thats bs I had the motor I know what it costs to do it right

For 9 grand just trade your civic in for an RSX-S and get some low ass payments.:)

Yeah, but an RSX is heavy, and if I can get that engine into a lighter chassis, well, um......:)
