I bought a NX wet kit (used) it came with a 22 and 32 jet, im running the 22 in the fuel and 32 in the nitrous. Any idea what shot this would be, i cant figure it out!! Im running a 2002 civic ex with a d17a2 if that helps anything.

just throwing jets in when you don't know if that is even a correct setting is VERY stupid.

when i bought it i was told it was between a 50 and 60, i wanted a exact number. He had it dynoed in his car. i wanted to know the exact shot because i may by alternate jets. and yes, nitrous in the 7th gen is AWESOME.

there is my answer im running a 46 shot....and running rich on fuel....im gong to upgrade to run a 55 or 60. Mobsta, what are you running on bottle psi, im running a constant 900...what shoul i be aiming for.

NX recommends 1000psito 1050psi. ZEX recommends 900 to 1000psi. I haven't hit the track with my new setup yet but I'm going to be aiming for 950psi starting then see what my plugs tell me. You need to get a bottle heater because too rich can be just as bad if not worse than too lean if you go way rich. Fuel gets trapped under the compression ring, ignites the next stroke, destroys the rings, oil gets in combustion chamber, oil + nitrous + fuel + spark = half a piston left, scared bore. Get a new set of plugs and start checking them after a few pulls with the nitrous.

yeah i got a bottle heater with my kit. And im running new plugs as well, need to pull em out and checkem

You have to pull them right after a run, driving it home then reading them isn't going to give you the full story. Do a pull, shut the car off right after you snap off the throttle, pull over and check the plugs.

what should i be looking for, i know how to read plugs but am i looking for anything special?

Detonation mostly. Crystal looking specs being the worst, if you have them you need to pull timing ASAP. Small black speckles on the ceramic are minor preignition, so try to add some more fuel or pull a degree of timing or so.

I'm assuming you're running colder spark plugs, but if you're not you need to find the line on the heatstrap. If you can't find it, you're probably running too hot of a plug.

i cant change timing, stupid d17 and individual coils..... but i need to go run it and pull over and check em. Been busy with school at night work at day, summer classes suck.

Remember if he was making 50-60whp on the dyno it is probably a 65-75 shot.

Also the line that sov is talking about should be about in the center of the ground strap.
