People Suck
So I go out to my car today to move it so I could work on it and find that someone got into my car and stole some ****. It's not that the most of the stuff they took was of any major value to me, but it's the fact that they took it. They took my little binder thing that was in my drivers side door that had my registration, echeck papers, tire pressure gauge, stubby screw driver, and flash lights. They also got in m glove compartment and took my travel bag that had 2 small screw driver sets and some other random things one might need when out and about.
The only thing that I'm most concerned about is the fact that my registration has my address on it. I don't know if whoever broke into my car did it while I was at home, work or the college. I'm also a witness in a robbery case so for all I know it could be someone connected to the case.
What's strange is they left my tape deck adapter, radar detector, and my splitter for my DC outlet so I can have my detector and wither my cell charger or ipod charger.
I don't keep anything of value in my car for this very reason
I'm just really bothered by the fact that whoever took it has my address.

I already went up to the police station to file a report and I told the woman that the only reason I'm doing it is because my address was on the registration and I'm a witness in a robbery case that is going before a grand jury. I just hope that whoever took it isn't involved in that case... The last thing I need is to have some @ss hats trying to intimidate me because the idiot that is the defendant already has a misdemeanor on his record and is now facing grand theft charges.

I can do one better... the other night i had my car parked in my attached garage with the door down (I keep the back access door unlocked for family and friends... or at least I used to) and some jerk off kids came in and stole my ipod and my nav unit, my ipod was in the glove box and my nav was suction cupped to my window but my car was IN my garage and i was home! funny thing is that my ipod had a broken battery and couldn't be used when unplugged and my navs power cord JUST got ripped that day into two and lasts about 4 minutes on battery. So basically they stole 2 useless pieces of electronics. The thing that gets me is that the keys were in the ignition of both my 93Ej2 and my 03Mercedes (along with the keys for the house and detached garage) and if they woulda got into the other garage they would have found a 78corvette a 73GTO a 03Harley Ultra Classic and a dropped 93 Chevy Shortbed Pickup (6" drop with a 350 and a 5-speed)... all with keys dangling in the ignition... I reported the crime immediately to the police and haven't heard anything back but im jus glad they only took what they did... (fyi all the keys are locked away inside as well as the access door)
