yeah man, i used to have a MKIII Jetta and they DEFINITELY have balls. My buddy is rockin a MKIV GTI with a few mods and slays the majority of people he races. Post up a mod list man, i'm interested to see what you're pushing. Cause i garauntee my boy Crazy Jon's GTI would give you some stiff competition

no mods, just a stock 2.slo :D. All of my money go to the bank or towards BMW mods. If you're interested in a mod list for BMW, then her comes:
-bilstein HD shocks/vogtland springs, aluminum control arms with urethane bushings,
-racing dynamics cat-back exhaust
-BBS wheels (lighter then stock)
-euro ellipsoid headlight
-Alpine 9847 reciever
-new paint job (not a mod, but big investment nontheless)

dmullens,
Do us all a favor and commit suicide now. The last thing we need is another moron driving a civic 90mph in a 30mph speed zone( which is a national residential speed limit ) on your way to killing someone. Obviously you think that by driving an economy car that is faster then another economy car that you are "gansta" enough to threaten people to race you. So please, end it for all of us. Die.

Ooookk... I think what he was TRYING to say, was that being cocky, and putting other peoples lives at risk will not earn you respect here. Tune your car, tear ass down the track, but please... PLEASE don't put my life in danger by driving like an a-hole through residential neighborhoods.

One thing is when you're going at it on a freeway at night when there's no bystanders around and another thing is blasting through residential areas going three times the limit. I can tell that you're young and don't have kids. Otherwise you wouldn't put someone's kid playing ball at such a risk. I don't give jack crap about most people, but its a shame that so many kids get hit by irresponsible drivers.
I don't approve of any type of streetracing, but I have done my share of it on I-95 at 3am. If you put your life at risk inbetween concrete barriers its your choice...but I'll tell you that the first thing I do if I see someone flying through my area is turn up my CB and report the plate and direction of the idiot that's violating our 25mph limit. If you race, than do it responsibly or don't at all.

i could not agree with Kolhoznik more. i have a 3 year old son. i am only 25 but i never drive recklessly in residential areas. i used to as a kid but i got that out of my system. it is an immature thing to get over when you first start driving. thankfully i live down the bayou, so there is always a straight-away with nothing but swamp on both sides 15 minutes or less away. dmullens, maybe you can find a secluded spot like that in your area if you have to get wild with the pedal. prefereably take it to the track if possible. even on f&f they tried to find a ducked off spot to race. i look at it like this anyway, if you got something to show you have nothing to prove. drive slow around town to stunt, make people wonder, people see you better that way anyway if showing off is what your interested in. i wont lie, I like women's attention, but there's a better way to get it while keeping respect and your life. anyway, somebody wants to race tell them to meet you at the track or a secluded area and do it right.
