Drivetrain DIYs - DIY-E brake adjustment

hi well i have a 02 civic ex 2 door and the e-brake is very loose like i have to pull all the way up. and i was wondering how do u adjust them the e-brake to tighten??? Im sorry if theres another thread that answers my ??

Take out your center console and adjust the nut that's there.

The diagram below should help. If not, and you have rear drum brakes, check the self-adjustment mechanism. It may be seized.
