I live in Colorado, but I get pulled over all the freaking time. Its REALLY freaking annoying. Here you can have 27% all around, or front windows untinted and the backs whatever you want (could be 0% for all they care). I have 27% all around. I get pulled over, they question me about it, start writing up a ticket, and I'm like "check it... its all legal" They do, then promptly tell me to have a good day and stay out of trouble. Grrrr....

My brother on the other hand, has like 27% on the front, 10% everywhere else, and has only gotten pulled over for it ONCE in his 240SX thats quite a bit more flashy than my car. But yeah, apparently they just check the front windows.

all states are different.... t ypicaly if the fronts are tinted lightly its ok... but it all depends on the cop and your attitude! some cops dont really care if its not limo tint. and mostly it depends on how nice you are to the cop when you get pulled over!

IN NJ you wont pass inspection with any tint on the front windows. My brother in law just got a new car and had it tinted and he had to remove the front tint's to pass inspection.

I have 5% all the way around and here in Wisconsin i haven't been pulled over yet. Here the legal tint is 35% all the way around.

tinted windows is a secondary offense you can not get pulled over for having tinted windows, although they will prob find something else to pull you over for and then give you two tickets

Yes they can pull you over for having dark tint. I know a cop and he told me he won't pull someone over for doing anything that they would do themselves. i.e have dark tint exhaust stuff like that. Yes it is pretty dark. I like it. People can't tell what me and my chronies are doing in the car.
