Hey guys, I have a 1996 Honda Civic Hatch Back, and I was wondering if someone was generous enough to tell me the dimensions of their stock seats, and how much extra room there may be, before causing problems.

I want to get these Chrono Road sport seats for my Civic.

They do make the custom mounts and slide rails to go with the seats to fit the 96' Civic.. so I'm assuming it won't be a problem fitting. Although instead of spending that kind of money to get them and find out there's issues, I'd rather take this approach.

Thanks!

Edit: Oh by the way, I don't have my stock seats anymore or else I'd be doing this myself.. not to mention I haven't had luck looking on the internet. :P

sorry i can't answer your question (my seats are different than your stock seats) but...

what seats do you have now? are you selling them after you get these? If so, depending on price I might be interested.

I did have stock ones a long time ago. I also had 2003 SiR seats as well, but threw it all out.
So, sorry I can't help you either. :(

oh alright
oh and i'm not sure of the dimensions on the stock seats, but those seats you have picked out don't look nearly as bulky as the stock ones... i'd imagine they'd fit easily.

That's what I'm assuming as well, although I don't want any rubbing issues. :D

Are leather civic seats the same as cloth ones? Dimension wise cuz might be able to help then.

as long as your leather is the stock seat just reupholstered.

I have the stock seats out of a 00' SI in my 96' hatch. I could take measurements on those. But I dont have the stock seats. They have to be about the same.

those will work
as long as they currently fit in the car, that's really all the measurements he needs.

I'm going to a junkyard tomorrow to explore (haha) and i'll try to remember to take a tape measurer and measure the seat width for you. I'll also measure how much spare room there is.

Just wondering though... why don't you just take a tape measurer outside to your car and just measure how much room there is? The size of the stock seats doesn't matter.

I hope you remember/remembered because that would be sweet.

See the thing is I'm not entirely sure on the shoulder width, as some people have complained about it, in different cars. Like I said, I don't want any rubbing issues with these seats.

Fit like a glove? Hope that's a good thing, and not too tight, haha.
I will check out the dimensions on the torinos.

Thanks for the help.

Well I did remember, however when we got there they were closing so we never got to go. I haven't had the chance to go back yet.

I have 98-01 Integra seats in my car, and i'm sure those fit in your car just fine so I could measure those if you want, as the dimensions should be pretty close to the Civic seats.

Hmmm, I will just go off of this.

I believe there's only a .5 - 1 inch of difference in shoulder width between the two. I checked last night.

Thanks for the help guys!
