Some once mentioned to me that taking an additional help in smoking your competition is by turning your heater on? Then secondly, as you take off in first before you pass 4000rpms press the clutch in releasing it quickly which slams your rpms quickly so that you would be redlining, so that you can jump into second gear faster?

Myth or real deal?

turning the heater on is a ricer myth...as for double clutching, i dont know that there is any positive proof of usefulness

Yeah, that is what I thought, but isnt double clutching only used in like drifting and in situations for turning corners without losing rpms while down shifting? Any other myths so I can let my buddies know what is real and what is fake?
