I'm working on sourcing a 15x8 +35 wheel. I investigated this because the $400 extra I have to pay to go from 15x7 to 15x8" seems out of whack. Weight would be 12-14lbs. with a 1-1/2" lip. Cost hopefully in the $130-160 shipped each, range. The goal is more to keep the cost below $600 delivered than to have the absolute lightest or sexiest wheel.
Style would be similar to an Enkei J10 or Kosei K1 TS. One piece pressure cast, post machined from a manufacturer that has lots of real race wheel experience. Machined finish, no pictures yet. Comments or suggestions appreciated.
Chime in if you would buy the right wheel. Nothing for sale yet, no website, just gauging interest.

Just a guy fed up with the search for reasonably priced 15x8's. Nice $105 7's are common, go to 8" and they're $200, the wrong offset, heavy or all of the above. The ATS DTC is a probably the best option but hard to find most of the time. The DTC also has no lip. Personally, if I'm gonna jam 8's under my car I want the the world to know it by having some lip showing. I drive turbo Miata so the offset required there is the starting point. This wheel on a civic would definitely be a wide body / flare.
Like I said, just a feeler at this point. All it takes is finding the right wheel, bringing them in is easy.

would " Woflrace " ring a bell? Because they only exist in uk... and if I want a set of their wheels, it will cost me more to ship them.

Im confused... are you looking for these wheels or are you having them made and you are checkign for interest in them?
The 40mm offset looks more appealing IMO and an 8" wide wheel will hold some nice rubber, but obviously you will have to pay to play.

I gave up trying to find them so I designed my own with the help of a race wheel engineer and I'm having them made. Final design stage, tooling soon, wheels in 8-12 weeks. I'll sponsor and have an ad here when it's ready

I may be interested in this but I have a question. 16 inch rims are plauged with having like hardly no choices as far as tires go. What do you recomend as far as the rubber goes?

12.8lbs.
The first version we modeled in Solidedge was a little under the 12.8lb target so we added some thickness to the bell.

How long of a time are we looking for these to be available. I am honestly interested in them as I like the way they look, they are lighter than stock, and I will need the extra width

same... i just got the konig minuz.. but they are only 6.5 width.. im gonna run 205/50/15 to help with width but after i bolt on the supercharger this summer it seems likely i will have some traction issues.. so if i can get these and fit them in wheel well without much rub if any and maybe a slight widebody flare for fenders it would be worth it..

No firm ETA now, I'd have to guess late summer so if you're ready for wheels now, don't wait for us.
