Appearance - rims...will these fit?

what color rims should i go with?... my car is blue when i go to paint it i will probably make it a little darker posibly si blue or something like that...what rims should i go with...gun metal, white, chrome, black, black chrome...my friend has the same car red with gun metal and i like the way that looks but how do you think it looks on blue? the car is a 91 hatchback

definately gunmetal... I wish I would have gotten my wheels that color. I've been kicking myself ever since.

yea thats what i was thinking my friends car with the gunmetal rims (http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/484549/3) i like that way if car looks with the rims...i dotn know why they dont look like gunmetal in those pics to me thy look chrome but they are gunmetal...when its clean it looks real nice but you think the gunmetal and the si blue will look good...i think it would but some ppl i have talked to dont like the look of dark rims on dark color cars i guess

Bolt Pattern: 4 on 100/4.5
Size: 18 x 7.5
Offset: +45 mm
Each wheel weighs 28 LBS.
they say they will fit but also one says its your responcibility to see if they will or not so i just wanna be safe... also do you guys think that they are a good deal or couyld i do better?.... are the civics all 100/4.5? i think thats what mine is but not exactly sure...thanks for your help

ok guys i have been searchin ebay and i have found so mant rims...can anyone tell me what will fit as far as lug pattern and backspace?

your lug pattern is 4x100... any size will fit 16,17,18... just size the tire right and you'll be fine (keep the overall diameter the same as stock, If you need help with it let me know). Keep the Offset close to +45mm, a little either way wont hurt.

cool thanks for the help polo...if i find any rims online that i am set on gettin ill be sure to ask...just in case...i think 18s would look real nice with a my drop but im afraid they would rub...especially with the intersections here in wpb... speed through a intersection here and the suspension bottoms out...they make it hard to street race here..heh

i like ur idea of gunmetal on blue car, and that selection looks good, but seriously consider weight as a factor, 28 pds + tire is alot of weight at the corners, great for handling, bad for go. I used to have heavy ass OZ monte carlo's the car handled great but definately sacraficed on acceleration, and since ur not drifting on the street, look for lighter wheels. my new ones are 17pds which is much better, not the lightest not the heaviest, a happy medium and they are still just as strong. thumbs up on the style tho thatd be hot

heh yea i guess thats a lot...i will look into lighter wheels when im ready i was just tryin to see how the black or gun metal was gunna look with the blue..thanks guys
