how do you send a message to a specific member and do you im them or email?

Alright, you click on their handle (username), in your case, is nathan0091. after you click, you'll see a list of options ranging from viewing their public profile, to private messaging and emailing them if their email address is in the system.
It will also help if you read through all the stickies in the new member section explaining everything about the forum and the rules.
