HCF Project Section - Beginnings of Boost!!!

Hey Thar!

Well this is my boost project thread:

Heres what i'm working with...

97 Honda Civic EX
Stock Motor

Hoping to be putting down around 200 whp.
This project should be finished in may due to the fact that i need a car at all times because i have to drive to class.

So from now on its just gather parts and then slap em on in may. =]

got that today... so ya everyone was right. =[ it was a knockoff

you should totally steer away from that knock off. My vac nipple snapped right off when i put the slightest pressure on it hooking up the vac line. Pieces of chit basically, but every case varies.

ya i know, im not gonna use it i'm still looking around for a legit one. i'm prob gonna jsut sell it and try and make back what i lost on it. =[ I'm taking this as a valuable learning experience that i cant trust anyone. especially over the internet. =[

What else is needed for your turbo project to be completed? I never even knew you had a project thread. lol

Oil lines, oil and boost gauges, teh ecu and ob2-ob1 conversion harness, and the walbro 255 fuel pump...

birthdays coming up tho so hopefully i'll get some $ and i can get some more ****.

this project looks way too similar to mine. Did you get rid of that knock-off BOV yet? And are you planning on upping the boost in the future to put that fuel pump to use? I'm excited to see how this turns out.

How much have you spent already? and how close are you to picking up everything?

okey dokey got the walbro fuel pump today :D as well as some gay ass air outlet that i believe was the source of the leak into my trunk...

Intend to install tomorrow...

A custom turbo build can be built for 1k-2k. So he has probably/will probably spend that much.

I had about 2800 in mine. From talking with josh, i believe he is only at 700ish or so. He's hoping to do it in a lil over 1k
