Hey guys, You may remember a few months back I was going to order some wheels and I was trying to decide on a few. Well now I have the finances and am going to order them this week. Still a little undecided tho and would like a few opinions. Here they are let me know which ones you like.
Here is the car.

I've thought about some GSR blades maybe too. Any others you might think look good, just post em up and lets see some options. I tried to go for stuff thats a little different. Let me know what you think. Thanks for the opinions.

I like the gloss gunmetal.
Seems like they would compliment your car nicely.

I have something similar to those rotas with the black and red lip. They're just not rotas though, but since they're in my closet I say don't buy them. :)
Edit: Actually mine are 10 spoke so I give you permission.

I think those flat blacks are rota copy's too. Poor quality or you didn't care for the look?

If it were me, I would go with the black with red stripe and have a red pinstripe put down the side of the car to bring that red into the body. From what I can tell in the pic, you don't have any chrome on the car, so I wouldn't go for wheels with shiny bits.
Of course, that is my two cents and a girl's opinion at that but hey. :)

If you decide to go with the red and toss the pin stripe idea around, you can get some pretty neat designs even at places like Advance or AutoZone. IMO if the pin striping isn't made by 3M is isn't worth using, it just cracks and peels off.
OR, you can get something cool done with a graphics shop. Maybe a tribal design or whatever is in your tastes.

^^Haha. I'm waiting to see if anyone will chop the wheels onto my car for me before I decide which ones. I'm liking the red, but I do like the look of a black car with bronze wheels. Why does it have to be so hard!! lol

Over used indeed, but some people are still into it I guess. :)
I'm not, and would probably bring bodily harm onto anyone sticking anything tribal on my car. XD

I think I'll leave the paint alone for now, i'm not too into the "custom" paint thing. +1 on not using anything besides 3M though.:D

I understand totally. The only thing I have on mine is the OEM pin striping replaced with silver. It ties in nice with the silver trim on my tail lights and the chrome accents that were stock.
Some vinyls look nice, but IMO it's too easy to overdo. And custom paint (especially a good job) will cost some hefty dough.

Being as you have such a nice glossy car, I think the flat black with red would look funny with your paint. I think the gloss black with polished lip or the bronze would both look amazing on your car.

Ok I know it's been a while but I got the wheels. Now i'm not sure what tire size to get. here is the specs...
Size 16x7. Offset 40mm. Hub bore size 67.1 mm
The rim width is only like 177 mm so i'm wondering if 225/45 R16 would be a good fit with no rub. I figure I'll be safe with the 16's not rubbing but i'm not 100% sure. What are some tire sizes you guys are running with this wheel size? Could I go wider than 225?

So... What did you end up getting? I'm sure it looks great, because every wheel you picked out looks awesome. When I had my 16 inch GT3's, I ran Toyo 225/40 R16 (I'm pretty sure), great tires, and I think I'm just as low as you, if not a hair lower, and I never rubbed (with a camber kit.)

I got the flat black with the red stripe. They look sick but I need to get some tires so I can roll 'em. Nice weather is comming and I want to get it done. I figured 225 would work but I was not sure.

Actually, I just looked it up, I had 215/40 R16's, and I had a little room. You should be okay with 225's.

Ok, Yea I think 225 will be good and allow me to run a slightly higher sidewall.
