I'm all for people doing whatever they want, to whatever vehicle they want, but that makes no sense to me.

This is the only rusty vehicle (http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1937-Chevy-Pick-up-RAT-ROD-HOT-W0QQAdIdZ92507714) I'd drive.

I don't know, I kind of like the hoods. Maybe I just have weird taste in cars.

whoever said anything about someone destroying a car? just because I said deserved doesn't mean I'm going to do something about it.

You have never talked to a hardcore anti-import guy, have you? Not everyone's so accepting of any import; that kind of person doesn't care why you're modifying a car, or what you like and don't like as far as style.

You want to know what the difference is? I didn't say "inthezoneac deserves to get shot in the foot". You said the people who rock the rusty hood style deserve to have their cars keyed.

lol people have already dinged and scraped paint off my side view mirrors from being fat, lazy, and uncontrollable of their carts and doors. Like half my right mirror is white.

I wanna do that to my hood. How would you go about doing it?

sand your hood, take some oxiclean and water and "wash it over your hood", let it air dry

or you can throw some raw eggs on there and let it do it's thing

I was kidding. Oxiclean will leave oxidation on hood, make it all white and crusty with some rust

eggs just removes paint and no paint=rust after rain

I think if I get another civic (looking likely this summer since I'll probably want a DD/winter car), I might look for a black one and rock the polished hood look.

now a polished hood isn't so bad. Just those vomit rust hoods are disgusting

Helicopter battery acid will make your hood nice and rusty.
