This falls more under apperance thna electical so. . .

Last night I got together with a friend and we were trying some LED lamps into the different areas.

The dome light was too dim with the LED bulbs but gave the interior a nice glow. Especially with the Blue or UltraViolet ones.

The Map light up front were changed to one red LED and on with a white LED.

The Red is good so you don't lose you night vision and the White still lights up the papers/maps well. And it's a real White not the incandescent yellow.

We tried many combinations on the tail lights but settled for 6 LED clusters in each.

Not as bright as the stock incandescents but with a sharper whiter look.

And in the dark they shine well.

We're going to try more combos soon but the night got too cool for us to stay out.

Absolutly,

we tried to get the front signals out to change them to a 19 LED cluster but it jamed way up into the fender.

The headlight and parking lights were accessable but the signals,

ouch, pinched fingers trying to get into the area.

We finally gave up fore now and just tried them in his Protege.

Looks sharp, but there isn't enough light output.

And the signals ran fast of course.

It's only the lights guys . . .

sheesh

I'm not adding any ground effect or stuff.

The LEDs for the plate are alot whiter than the bulbs and give a better look to the Blue in the plate.

The interior stuff is red to keep your night vision when you need to read a map, but I'm keeping the stock dome, as I want as much light as possible to get in and out.

OK OK maybe it's a bit Ricey,

But it's subtle rice

a nicely styled body kit in cool. the honda kit my buddy put on his 04 lx coupe looks nice. it gives it style and is not rice. so a body kit does not have to be rice. i dunno about the leds though unless it is the 3rd brake light in a spoiler

i have an led in my corner lensbut mine are those apc ones. not as bright but definatly nicer looking. but i like your idea. led's not only look sharper but also take less power.

On my LX there aren't any side lights,

and we tried to get the signals out but they're buried,

so for ther moment it's just the plate lights and the map lights.

I've got some bolt-LEDs for the plate that will get wired to the brake to act as extra brake light.

I drive highways too much and want as much warnibg as possible that I'm stopping.

BTW lilo, hows your gsxr running?

I've got the Intruder 1400 and have a few hundred miles on it alredy this year.

Yeah, the glow stuff is too much,
and it can be distracting while driving.
I like my interior dark so I can see the road better.
I switched one of the map lights to a red LED festoon,
not to be ricey but to preserve my night vision if I needed to read a map or directions or so.
The LEDs in the plate light look real nice, as it shows the color of the plate better, and the new plate bolt LEDs are wired to the brakes to add more stop light attention.

Well I finally took some pics of the LED bolt lights on the rear plate.

This should be the link and not the whole pic.
