Default Another Guage installion w/ pics :)

sup everyone, my friend gave me a set of guages, they where the oil pressure guage and the light show fuel/air meter.

just to say if anyone want the oil pressure pm me, but for the light how i saw in this link

but he doesnt decribe from what harness or which thick white wire, so i toke some pics and hopefully someone could point out which wire i have to tap into to get the readings, so 3 harness from the main ecu from my 99 2door civic, D16y8 model,

are you sure your car is a 99 and not a 98? the reason I ask is because it appears you have a ODB2A ECU but a 99 civic should have a ODB2B ECU and the pinouts are different on each.

The easiest to be sure you have the right wire is to just the wire from the gauge to through the firewall and to the O2 sensor, there is where you will only find one white wire and thats the wire you want. If you can confirm your ECU then I can tell you which wire at the ECU you want to connect to.

Thanks for the reply, and my vin says that my civic is a 99,and the stickers like the door. Etc say 99 civic, maybe the production date might help? I can post that if that would help
