Apparently people from Wisconsin don't know how to do a burnout. (http://www.jasonflora.com/videos/SRT4ClutchBurn.wmv)

Pardon my ignorance as I never had a car powerful enough to do it, but what happens in a burnout? I've never seen one either. It's obvious that this guy failed though. Being pushed off the track, that's just shy of tragic.

its when u "smoke the tires" "Light em up". Basically floor it or dump the clutch and just spin the tires.......smoke everywhere. burning rubber...........

prep boy thought he could buy stock badass car and be the ****, but got pwnt. Bitter sweet irony. Sad that he can't do a burnout in a 220hp car. [:@]

Its a purposely mispelled word meaing "owned" its considered a part of that really loser online language "l337". People kept typing it wrong for so long it just eventually became 'cool' or accepted. One of the two.

maybe in water. its possible, but hard. unless its RWD, then you just stand on both pedals. (hard on rear brakes though;))

come on you guys... i live for burnouts. in a civic just yank on the fun-brake and rev it up to 4 grand and let the clutch out as fast as you can while you floor it. if it starts to drag the back then let off the brake, if it stays there smokein, then have fun. with an auto, dont expect to do that. you wont get to much of a burnout no matter what. but rear wheel drive auto. step on the brake and gas and play with em till you can get the rear spinnin as fast as possible without the car moveing. or with a standard rear wheel drive just pop the clutch and stomp the brake. i also have a towncar with a 5.0 and limited slip rear diff. and that loves em. ok mabie i force it. but its still fun.

yeah, sacs and neon are right. with it a rwd vehicle it is much easier and its called brake torqueing. the more horsepower the easier to brake torque, but any rear wheel drive will do it easy enough. just find the right amount of pressure on the brake. i put the shifter in the 1st granny gear and floor it, voila smoke cloud till you decide to quit or the tire does. i find it doesnt work as well on front wheel drive cars that are low on horsepower but just like neon said yank the emergency and give it lotsa gas.

one side note. this is not easy on the car, probably not a good idea to do often if ever. if you do it realize you might break something or like sacs said wear out some breaks (and especially what ever tire(s) are spinning).

anybody seen an all wheel drive smoke down all 4 tires? i would like to see that. we need a video of leviii smoking em down in the evo, ha ha.
