and also today i noticed the transmission only had 1 bolt left in it holding it up and was just about to fall out.
so i got it fixed.
my o2 was bad and had a cel so i got a new o2 today.
i also got my new cat since this thing didnt have anything and was insanely loud. bought a new cat fro 20$ and got it intalled for 30$. now it sounds so much better. ill take more pics tmw and so on.

the nut on the top of the strut comes off then they drive over lots of speedbumps and potholes and crappy roads and bend the crap out of it
and this whole time they never notice how? idk
my car did the same thing once but it was loud as hell and as soon as it happened i stopped driving then fixed it

was this teg like completely half-@$$ed?
so far yes it appears to be. the trans only had 1 boly left in it and was just about all the way out, the front motor mount didnt have any bolts, the side main motor mount only had 1 bolt in it. and i had a bad fuel leak where they put a new fuel filter but didnt put the copper washers inbetween the bolts. but i got all that fixed to day.
tmw im gonna wire up my stereo.

lol u win!! i really appreciate it jason thx.. pm me ur paypal email address.
you would believe the ish ive done today... first i added more missing motor bolts,
then went and bought alot of srews and screwed all the interior panels in they where just sitting in there. i bought seat belts for my car and missing panels for 70$ shipped, i bolted down the passenger and driver seats, wired my stereo in and subwoofer, replace all the missing and rigged fuses. bolted down the back seats. oh and i bought new wheel studs and lug nuts that were missing, the front wheels only had 2 lug bolts/nuts holding the wheels on. i cut all the rigged wiring out and fixed almost eveything back to stock.
and im out still working on it. il post pics in a little while.

ok well yesterday- i got my new o2 sensor installed to get the cel off and it didnt go off it was still throwing o2 senor code. so i pulled the carpet up to check the o2 signal wire and the ecu wires had been hacked up a little and a few wires werent hooked up. so after much online researching i was able to rewire the ecu THE RIGHT WAY. and now i no longer have a cel. i got all the wires fixed but 1 i wasnt able to find where it goes into the ecu its a baby blue wire with grey spots. i also noticed they didnt install a vtec ecu. it has a obd1 pr4 ecu so now i need to find a vtec ecu. later that day i pulled the front tires off to inspect everything and what would ya know the outer tie rod had no nut on it. the thing was just sitting there. it also has a skunk 2 suspesion. i tried to fix the front seat belts they are the ones that are motorrized and move back and forth when you start the car. they wont go back when you start the car. i un hooked them and ran my own wires to them and they worked so i had them go all the way back. then i hooked them back up and when i started the car they moved back forward -damn
so i jumped the wires again and had them move back where i can at least drive with seatbelts and then un hooked them so it wouldnt move back forward until i find a diagram and i can fix them the right way. i was also able to fix my dome light and clock everything seems to be working now, i just need to figure out my fog lights they dont work, that will be my quest today.

Ignition-Black/Yellow-Ignition Switch Harness
Ignition 2-Blue/White-Ignition Switch Harness
Accessory-Yellow-Ignition Switch Harness
Door Trigger-Green/Red (negative)-Passenger's Kick Panel
hook it to the first three if you just want it to move back when the car is on or you can hook up a relay to the door trigger then hook up the wire to it so it will move with the door if you need a relay diagram just ask
94civichatchback
09-21-2009, 05:47 AM
so what do i do bypass the seat belt computer? gimme some more info on this if ya dont mind
kanarrjl
09-21-2009, 06:02 AM
Well I'm pretty sure if you just want it to stop working you unplug it. But if you want it to move the belt forward when the car is off or when you open the door you just hook up a relay so that the relay is powered by the ignition and the trigger would be the negative... well let me get it straight before I give you a sure answer. The belt moves forward when it doesn't have a positive input and moves backward when it does have a positive input?
94civichatchback
09-21-2009, 11:27 AM
yea i want it to work the right way. does it work off the ignition switch cause it has a bad ignition switch. i can turn the key on but cant start it with the key i have to use a push button.

so i figured today ill pull the main relay and check the solder points. well after hunting for it for about 25 mins under dash i finally found it. it isnt in the same place as a civic.
and once i pulled it off and brought it inside the house and with a good light i was shocked at how many connections were bad(cracked).
found it!

Very true. Sometimes, if I wasnt so nice I would wish girls that I know would total theirs and just magically hand over the remains with an untouched engine :D

ok so on the coldest day this week my damn heat dies, gawd it was so fukn cold driving with no heat and cold ait coming i the car, so i had to pull apart my dash and remove the whole complete blower motor assembly, after i pulled it out of the car i sat down on my porch and disassembled the motor and the brushes/springs on it were rusty and really dirty, i cleaned the hell out of it, then i wd-40 the hell out of it, i then reassembled it, put it back in my car and now it works 10x better.

JayVee
10-21-2009, 08:26 PM
wouldnt paint get on the sides of the letters since there poked out? or do you just sand paper / polish the top
94civichatchback
10-21-2009, 08:37 PM
just paint it then just sand down the top of the letters
i used 400 grit to sand paint off then 800 to polish it
JayVee
10-21-2009, 09:39 PM
oh okay, thanks.
(sorry for making this a thread jacker)
my valve cover doesn't have paint so i'd sand it 1st correct?
94civichatchback
10-21-2009, 10:59 PM
i took mine off removed all the seals out of it, sanded the rough loose stuff off, then washed it, let it dry, then primed 3 coats, painted 5 very light coats, then 2 coats clear. then i let it sit out in the sun for about 3 hrs then very carefully put all my seals back on it then istalled it on my motor, then about 4 days later i sanded the letters and then washed it off with water.

Now the valve cover and IM don't match! (At least from what I can see) It could also just be that the IM has brand new paint on it. I think black for the IM, red for the VC, and black for the spark plug cover would be best IMO.
