My friend and I were going to an arcade after work one night, and we decided to race most of the way there (about 8 miles of stoplight drags and a nice bridge over the Ohio River). We started out with what I like to call the ultimate chinese fire drill. He gave me the keys to his probe, and I (reluctantly) gave him my keys. we pulled up to the first stoplight after leaving the parking lot. With several other cars around us, we both leaped out of the cars and switched. This kicked off the highlight of my weekend. Once we got on the bridge I rolled up my windows, turned off the A/C and floored it. To my surprise, I got 110 by the middle of the bridge. On the stoplights after the bridge, the same thing kept repeating again and again: The probe beat me in the first 100 feet or so, but I had much better 0-60 time and beat him every single time. I know my car is weak, but I had no idea probes sucked so much.
