The bodywork is almost done on my husbands car - Here's how it's looking so far.

Day 1 - Welding, body filling and priming the passenger side back fender. There was a small rust spot.

Day 3 - I attempted to dye the fabric on the door panels black. It didn't work out so well. We're going to reupholster them instead.

I am in Palm Coast, FL - Right in between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine.

As far as future plans are concerned - We are priming the car this weekend and painting during the week. It's gonna be bright yellow. I know it's a loud color, but it's my husbands favorite and it actually looks really nice on that car.
The motor is coming in today - I got him a B18C GSR motor. That will go in after it's painted.
I also got a spoon wing, spoon side mirrors, mugen front and rear lip, upgraded brakes (with ceramic pads and steal braided lines), headlights (OEM style, black housing with amber corners - thanks for the suggestion), tails (OEM red and clear) and black racing seats. We're also reupholstering the back seat all black and the door panels.
Everything is in except the wing, headlights and tails - Those should all be in next week - But obviously won't go on the car until after paint anyways.

I'll keep updating as we move along. Now that the body work is done and most of the wetsanding is finished, it should move along pretty quickly.

Thanks guys! I'm actually having a lot of fun working on his car! I learned how to wetsand which was exciting and I'm helping with the motor this weekend.

I'll definitely keep you all updated on the progress. The motor came in today and instead of priming it this weekend we're going to go ahead and drop that in - I'm so excited! I can't wait to see it running again!

Needs an OEM style carbon fiber hood. Yellow EG hatches always look sick with the CF hood. Nice progress though, hes lucky.
