go with an obd1 gsr, 94-95, if you havent already wired it, you need to wire for vtec and for the 4 wire o2 sensor...it would be the simplest thing to do..use an obd1 swap... thatll run you about $1500-$2200...alot of money..

Where are you finding OBD I swaps for 1500? Id have to buy that right now if thats true that is a smoking deal.
I also agree with the 94-95 B18C1. It came out of a 1994 or a 1995 Acura INtegra GSR. It is a DOHC VTEC engine, it has a main girdle and oil squirters which is why I think it shines above the rest of the DOHC VTEC motors.

dude you would need to replace your mounts. engine, tranny, shift linkage, get an auto to manual conversion(buy the pedals to add your clutch), and like i said earlier, if its a cx, youd need to wire for the 4 wire 02 sensor and wire for vtec....if you can afford the downtime of the car, you can do all this yourself..the wiring is fairly simple, theres a few "how to's" on this... i found an awesome one..ill post the link next time...but yea, id say its alot of work, going from auto to manual...

dude, people post swaps on there all the time...youll find something by checking everyday...sometimes people are crunched for money because of outstanding tickets or other projects...so theyll post up whole swaps relatively cheap...and alot of time itll read $2500, and if you continue reading on down as the days go by, there are usually price drops...

i will be able to do all this work to it because i do not drive my car in the winter so i will have lots of down time to work on it. thanks a lot for the info. much appreciated... i also have a truck so it is not a big deal.... i am just trying to figure out what exactly is all involved so that i will know where i am at... my other thought is this..... i am from canada i have priced out some stuff that comes from japan...
i can get a b18c1 engine from a 1995 acura integra gsr which is the dohc vtec engine for $3,100 canadian. it has 57,000 km on it. or i can buy the same engine with a standard transmission, and the computer for $5,500 canadian.
i am going to convert my car from automatic to standard....
but my question is..... will this transmission from the acura integra work in my 93 honda civic cx??? the engine and the tranny match up but will it work for me???

dude...ummm...like i said earlier..you need b series shift linkage, from the gsr or whatever linkage you can get...you need mounts, the rear tranny, side tranny and side engine mounts... you also have to wire for the 4 wire o2 sensor and vtec... you also need the axles, get a p28 ecu if at all possible...and dude please dont get ****ed on buying an engine....it seems kind of pricey $3100 for a gsr swap...once again you need axles, tranny, clutch, motor, motor/tranny mounts, shift linkage, along with the axles you need the intermediate shaft also...youll have fun with the swap if you have all winter to do it...as for the auto to manual conversion...look on ebay...sometimes you can pick these up for less than $100, sometimes as low as $40...if anything more...just take a look at the one that says eg swaps on this site..im sure if you look youll find pics and how to's of everything youre wanting to do
